August 2023 News Update (as appearing in Hagley Village News)

August sees a new demonstrator for us, Leanne Ellis showing her work on a landscape in Oils, which will contrast directly with last month’s experience of urban landscape in watercolour with Ray Blundell.

The good weather has tempted members out on “en plein air” activities, which has taken us from Himley Hall’s waterfalls to a daisy-covered bank at Lakeside, Wythymoor and a lovely Kinver garden overlooked by St Peter’s Church. Who knows where we’ll be next? Look out for our“Sketch Out” with the date, venue and times to be posted on Facebook

NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME Contact us at hagleyartclub583@gmail.com or turn up at Hagley Community Centre 2nd Monday of every month at 7.30 pm start. (£5 guest fee) If you love all things arty you won’t regret it. Why not join at £25 per year and a small entrance fee, which includes a raffle ticket, we are incredible value without compromising on the calibre of visiting artists
